Please excuse the horrible IPOD picture, I'll take better pictures when I'm done with this.
So in the basement a single wifi router connects directly to the modem. I use the first wi-fi router (on the top left) which some sort of Motorola with DD-WRT and it is just being used as a bridge from that first router's wi-fi to ethernet. That ethernet then goes into a wired linksys router (top middle) where I filter out all of the first router dhcp and what not and pretty much separate them from myself. That router is to be replaced with a much larger rackmount wired router in the future. On the left of the top is my personal access point, a Netgear WGR614v10 running 150MB N.
First thing in the rack (its facing backwards) is a nice rackmountable Power Distribution Unit.
Second you see my 3Com Baseline 24Port 10/100 HUB (I'm getting a 24 port switch soon, and surprisingly the performance isn't too bad with a hub).
Then sitting on my server is a keyboard mouse (mouse never gets used) and an old IBM LCD monitor.
The server is a Tangent SFF comptuer case with an ECS motherboard from an emachines pc with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ and 4GB of DDR2 ram running Proxmox VE 2.0 as my main server (and only server at this moment, however I will make a single backup server with an identical case later).
And its all sitting in a Quest 20U network rack I got new on eBay a year ago for $80.
Feel free to ask questions and also remember I will post more details about the server itself as its finished.
