true but my god. youd laugh at our server setup at work.. can you say a stack of old HP proliants with win server 2003 R2 and a 6 disk scsi hotswap bay in each? failed to mention the OS drives in them are RAID 1 and 32GB... the storage is RAID 5 in each on 4 x 74GB drives.....oh the horror of the 90s......still fast as snot on those xeons theyve got though.....
for god sakes my home server is more modern....i5 750 @4ghz, 16GB of RAM, 2x 6850s that mine 24/7, 6x 2TB drives windows server 2008 R2, and a 800W enermax psu....on a Dlink 1024D switch.
