Just out of curiosity, what do you use for your media center OS? I've grown accustomed to using XBMC on an original xbox, and love using a wireless game controller to control it. The only drawback that I've found is that I can't play HD content on it (just not fast enough). I've toyed with building a media center PC, but haven't found an interface that I'm really in love with.

well. as long as were posting ghetto setups i dont feel so bad throwin these up...

edit. pics had to much personal info as file names... had to rename/repost.

this is the play room... gaming rig in living room dubs as htpc too.
only got a bunch of 1TB drives for now. will build actual file server with a bunch of 2TB drives in raid next year. getting this (very) soon too for school/work/remote access. monochrome printer (FTW) behind dogfood/garbage bag

I'm using Windows 7 64bit home premium. I also use PS3 media server, to stream to my PS3 and Xbox 360. I stream my 1080p blu-rays over my network from that computer and PS3 Media Streamer uses the CPU to transcode the file formats to work on both my xbox and ps3. :-) totally replaced my media center PC i had in my living room.
