Of course you can over clock them using the same methodology as A64 chips but there are different temp and voltage limitations which I am not familiar with so Id wait until someone with one of those CPUs comes here and helps you out, by the way welcome to overclock.net!!

Please post your system in your profile. Then we can help you in the possibility of an overclock. It does depend somewhat on your computer parts so we need to know the make/model of all the parts.

Hey there welcome to the overclock.net.

It would help if you could post up your full system specifications. (do this in the user CP). we really need to know the motherboard model and the RAM you have.

AMD ATHLON's and ATHLON XP's were the best overclocking rigs out there in the day , as you can see I still run one.
We can most surely set you off on a lifelong addition.

cheers

I have a 2000+, which I really like a lot. Only problem is that my motherboard has very few OC options.

Good going on your system specs.

Download cpu-z from here:

http://www.cpuid.org/cpuz.php

Give us a screenshot of your information. Is this a T-Bred or Barton 2600+? What make is your Powersupply?

Alright, just thought that you might want to download ATI tool so you can OC that GPU. You should do pretty well with that 2600. I would've gotten a 2500 and an Abit NF7-S for my system, but my bank account and my gut said no to that one.
