you know what im a complete idoit my external freq is 166/33 or something like that. thats what showed in my bios. my fsb is 333. however in my bios i cant change the external freq could you explain to me how to do that?

remember i am still a beguiner so make sure after you do this to keep an eye on your temps.... I have been running mine for a few weeks in my current config. but i may have different mem than you and other things may apply as well. so keep a good eye on the temps. I wouldn't want to have to replace a cpu because of burnout...

i have aquamark (demo) and 3dmark (demo) don't know where to get full versions without pay, but i got them from dounload.com, its an easy way to tell if you get worse or better. also to see if temps go up. but not the best tool for testing your temps. youl just have to look around. many people use different things.

thanks for all the help guys right now im running at 2070.1 way better then the 1.1 i was at lol and my temp flucuates between 38-40 degrees
