is a amd athlon 64 processor 3200+, faster & better than a celeron 2.60?

joke? 3200+ A64 is way faster than a 2.6ghz celeron,it performs close to 3.2 p4.

Very much so my friend, with decent cooling it should do 2.7-2.8GHz

A 3200 will walk all over any Celeron processor.

Yes it can overclock pretty good but there are some different versions of A64 3200+ which Amd gurus here will help you out,Like s754 3200+,s939 3200+ and s939 3200+ venice,be sure what you are gettin before buyin.

ok ty u all ,1 more question.if i buy a mainboard with an agp slot & a pci-e slot ,can i use (same 6800 cards)1 in agp & 1 in pci-e?

Excellent point of note.

If it is a AMD ATHLON64 3200+ 939 Venice core then it is a no contest with the AMD trouncing the INTEL.

but as Kindredice stated you need to be a bit more specific.
