Buing new system

So in another post i was saying that I wanted to switch to AMD... but i can't seem to find it... so...

Here it goes... I just talked to my father and next week... he can handle me 800€ - $952.4

My system is going to be his... so...
I would need...
AMD Proc.
AMD Mobo
RAM (dont want to split and stay with 512 again xD)
PCIe gfx Card
PSU

That is basicaly what i need for my system...
I already have
DVD reader
DVD Writter
Watercooling
Monitos, keyboard, mouse, etc...

IN my father's system, He will need
DVD reader
HDD

So... with 800€ what do you think i could by... ?
i am willing to sacrifice to get a low end gfx card to have a better mobo and proc... so tell me what you would by, or the best setup i can get...

Overall, i need.

First thing I need to ask is, are you a gamer? Because if you are, then definitely do not "sacrifice" to get a low end gfx card. In my opinion, you should always spend the most money on your gfx card, if you're a gamer.

I have to go soon, so I'll make a quick list for you, not sure how prices will work out.

CPU- AMD Athlon 64 San Diego 3700+
Mobo- One of the DFI Lanparty Boards
RAM- Some G.SKILL, with 2-2-2-6 timings.
GPU- Perhaps a Geforce 6800gs?
PSU- Try the Sunbeam Nuuo 550w
DVD- Any should be fine.
HDD- I don't know if it's affordable when paired with everything else, but try a raptor RAID0 array, or maybe just a single raptor.

Thanks...

The reaseon why i want to sacrifice the gfx card is because I want a processor and motherboard better than I already have... and also goo to be overclocked....

Yes i am a Gamer, but I am in no need of spending like $400 in a gfx card... its too expensive for me... As i have a 9600xt, I assume that a little upgrade would do fine... actualy i can play ALL games perfectly fine... in mid-high range details.
So i think a 6600GT or so if fine

I was also thinking in buying a Dual Core 3800+ ... should I ?
For the motherboard i have some questions...

I'd like to know if there is much difference between those:
Motherboard Asus Skt939 - A8N nForce4 SLI
Motherboard Asus Skt939 - A8N nForce4 SLI Deluxe
Motherboard Asus Skt939 - A8N-SLI Premium nForce4
Motherboard Asus Skt939 - A8N32-SLI Deluxe nForce4

I've but them from the most cheap to the most expensive...
Wich one should i buy?? Are there needs of buying the most expensive?

Well, the difference between:

A8N-SLI - Stripped down A8N SLI-Deluxe Minus the 2nd set of SATA ports.
A8N-SLI Deluxe - Feature Rich A8N-SLI with more ports
A8N-SLI Premium - A8N-SLI Deluxe with a Heatpipe Chipset cooler & automatically detects the 2nd videocard. Rather than using the chip for SLI.
A8N32-SLI Deluxe - A8N-SLI Premium with blower (fan) at the end of the chipsetcooler, and both 16x PCI-Express lanes are fully 16x rather than 8x(videocard 1)+8x(videocard 2) = 16x

Maybe i'll stay with the deluxe... i don't think its worth to buy the other ones... and the deluxe does the job... only for the second card detection... but... we'll see that later... xD

Thanks

Yea, I'd go with the deluxe, BUT However if you want to get serious with overclocking, I suggest a DFI SLI-DR. But you've obviously made a choice not to get it so I won't attempt to swagger your decisions.

Hopefully he knows what he's talking about, but I assure you, DFI have the best overclocking motherboards on the market. And the most feature rich. Very useful.
