If I'm thinking of the right set, the Z5500s come with Wireless rear speakers... that's always a plus.

When I was looking to get a speakerset I was looking at the 5300e. I wasn't impressed. Pricy and they don't have much power to each of the speakers. I have the 5500, I absolutely love them. Worth the money. You can get a good deal on them online.

They aren't wireless. The biggest thing, to me anyways, is the versatility of the system. You can hook it up to your computer system with the SPDIF connection. There is also an optical input to hook up a DVD/XBox/PS2. It's almost like having a little receiver without the tuner and the video switching capabilities. They produce great sound whether you go analog or digital.
