Dunno. I would have to run it and find out. That is a single card, but I got a few more here. I normally don't run them in TriSLi though.

Also, maybe (and I know this is just for benching) tried to up the voltage just a tad bit more to say 1.15v?

I know I'm only running one but I had to mod the voltage in bios to keep it from downstepping states when I reached 900 core. But my chip does suck so....
I use nVidia Inspector, no jumping voltage on any card, can'te tell during Vantage though.

So yeah, probably you're right, downclocking of 1 card for couple seconds or so.

I was thinking about getting over but then I thought well 1.138 might be for some reason and for me hassle of RMA or getting another card > curiosity so no going that route.
Beside with 3 of these even with everything under water this sounds too excessive for my liking I'm not the guy with pot of LN2 for breakfast

So I take it the SC/FTW I am staring at with a .893VID is "Good" too then ... Overshocked got some kind of luck binning these 2x 480's I have for mods.
.893 vid is likely the 2d voltage which is what normally oc scanner picks up.

My SC card came with a vid of 1.075
It was one of the first ones... it seems the newer cards are much better.

I was curious what higher CPU OC will give 3-sli.
Previous benching done with 4.43, this time I pushed to 4.67 and results were good.

All 480s @875, 1950mem, 1.088 volts.

45363 Vantage PhysX OFF

and run for fun, PhysX ON:

52318 Vantage PhysX ON

I got mine the first week that a handful were available on newegg, before the official release date, and my SC VID is 1.062. Runs a little warm, but I'm not going for any records, so I'm just running it at 825/1000/1.062V and temps are completely manageable with a custom fan profile. This one doesn't need any voltage increase until it hits 850 core. Heat becomes a problem as soon as I increase voltage, though.
