Sup homies.
As the title says, i would like to become an Artisan for overclock.net
I know my services may be different, but after some incidents that have occured i would like to provide my experience here, if i can qualify. Basically a long story short, is if you have heard the major destruction in Nashville, Tn you would will understand what i am talking about. A few weeks ago nashville and many other surrounding communities were flooded, destroyed, and lost everything. I was lucky unlike some of my fellow neighbors that lost everything a block from my house, and i mean the water level in two hours reached 20' high and the whole house was underwater. Well the damage i received is my finished basement and garage for my graphics shop was destroyed. Half of my house is underground, so when your at the front it looks like its a one story but when you go to the back its a two. About one inch of water came in, ruining alot of my equipment, material, furniture (including computer desks), floor, and bathroom. Also, when i had my roof installed over 5 years ago, they used cheap plastic vents instead of metal, and over time they dry rotted and the massive amount of rain allowed a ton of water to come in. Thankfully insurance will cover that, just not the roof, which sucks, because it isnt considered flooding. For everything else i have to go through the govt program, fema, but they are saying it will be up to six months for my refund. So, the materials i have left and machines that werent messed up, im wanting to produce decals and banners, for my favorite fourms, which this is one. I do not mind paying for the artisan membership, im just curious and my real question is would you guys be interested in decals, etc? I have a ton of vinyl left that was not effected by water, but after the week of no ac and baking in there, i really dont want to mix the new material with the old. My prices would be cheap. So if you guys think you may be interested in decals, one color, let me know and if enough people sound interested i will subscribe for the artisan, and hope i get it. I would only provide one color, since my digital printer was messed up and laminator, but insurance should fix it, just will take awhile. I'll have pics of the damage up soon.
Graphicsman
EDIT: yes i can cut custom design files, i do have on files saved to my backups logos from companies and if you can send me eps, ai, pdf, tiff, files i can cut directly from them
