I dunno why this isn't working...Help in overclocking! - Page 5

Think so? Well, I guess it's kind of true. Plus, I am paying an extra 50 dollars for 50 watts more, and the NUUO does have some pretty schweet specs. And, with the money I save, I'll have more money to upgrade my memory with! Bye-bye Corsair Value select!

EDIT

Well, so many different opinions! I will just have to think about this. But, kind of a change of subject (Since I have two choices for PSU's) How's about some good memory for not too much? I really need to upgrade from this Corsair...

I'm falling in love with G.Skill...

You can pick up a 2GB set of G.Skill Extreme DDR500 for under $200 at NewEgg. I've got a single stick of 1GB regular performance DDR400 RAM, and it's got timings of 2.5-3-3-6 at full speed, and mine's running at timings of 2.5-2-2-5.

Yup. And if you can find it, they've got BH-5 RAM that's supposed to be amazing.

Yeah, from the looks of it, the G.Skill needs alot of Volts. I think my new PSU should handle it.

I'll se if I can find you a 2 GB set of the BH5.

Edit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231034
Costs a bit more, but if you read the first review, the guy has a similar set up to yours... and he got his X2 3800+ up to 2.65.
No guarantee, but it can't hurt.

Yeah, that does look pretty good.

But, one weird thing just happened...

My LCD temperature display says that my CPU is at 29 degrees celsius, and my bios says that it's at 36 degrees celsius...

My Bios always reads my CPU temp about 10* C higher than it really is. You shouldn't really need to worry about temps for a while with your Watercooling setup.
