AMD Processor question

Thread Starter
I’m going to get an Aurora m7700 but I don’t know much about AMD processors, so can someone help me what the performance differences in the following processors Athlon 64 FX-60, Athlon 64 FX-57, Athlon 64 X2 4800+, Athlon 64 X2 4600+, Athlon 64 X2 4400+, Athlon 64 X2 4200+, is there any problems with dual cores that I should know about? The FX 60 is pretty pricey is there a cheaper one that will give around the same performance?

Only thing you really need to know is that most games are not yet optimized for Dual core, and probably won't be for a little while.

As for the performance question, the X2 4800+ will give you nearly the same performance. Especially if you overclock it.
