BF2 + upgrading = ?

Hello, i am getting a 7800gt and i want to know what settings i should beable to set in Battlefield 2. If you look at my rig below you can see under the hood. Would i get Med/high , high, or just med? I plan to OC the heck out of my 7800gt so any opions on that as well will be appreciated.

With the processor you have, you'll be able to run medium just fine. If you got a 3500+ or up, you'll be able to run full with little lag.

you might want to check that your psu is adequate, a 7800 will draw much more power than a 5700

It's not so much the graphics card as it is the whole package. If one is lacking the whole thing will. You're going to need a better PSU, if you are running too little amps you could damage your card and other components

If you OC that 2800 to around a 3200 they you'll be ok, but you wont be able to play with everything on high sice that typically utilizes over 800MB of RAM so you'll cap out. Get more RAM and you'll be able to run it on High.

yeah i want to OC my 2800 higher, but my current mobo only lets me OC to 2ghz. yes i am upgrading my PSU :http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182010

So i should be able to get Med/high settings right?

With the 7800 gt you should be able to get med\\high settings apart from textures, your biggest problem with b2 is the ram, the game loves 2 gb, it will run better - smoother - maybe not many more frames\\second but the overall feel and playability will be better. Your current upgrade will be a hell of an improvement anyway

Yeah my friend just got another GB of memory and he says it runs much better, buying 1GB of Ram is around $80 from the Egg apposed to $120 for 512mb at office max. XD ok thanks guys
