Nothing yet! Been really busy last few days working on a big project for a friend... buildling a couple quad core systems in Lain Li cases... turned out real nice.... Put the Coolermast V8 on em, temps are pretty good for air.. They have been crunching for like 96 hours straight @ 3.5Ghz and CPU is around 45-47 depending on ambient

As far as the Stacker goes, I got some single braid power supply cables coming in tomorrow that should bling it out a bit, and I gotta finish up the side panel and that will be a wrap until I get the new graphics card!

I'll post some pics tonight what it looks like all closed up, pretty bad a$$!

Also, the temp continue to astonish me... I have had it crunching for about 96 hours now @ 4.1Ghz/3Ghz NB and CPU maxed at 49C, NB 40C, depending on ambient What really blows me away is how much more powerful an X6 is compared to and X4... the X6 literally does 2-3x the work as the X4, in BONIC at least... crazy

Nice, still haven't gotten me those 1M and 32M SuperPi times, try to aim for the Top 10 AMD spots.

Also, can you get any higher of an overclock (stable), those temp's are great.

^^ Crap dude I forgot about that! I will give it a spin tonight if I have time! (been hectic lately at work)

The highest stable OC I have been able to get to is just a touch over 4.2... like 4270
(305x14) But I have to have the vCore up to almost 1.56V to stay stable... *might* be able to hit 4.3 but would prolly have to go 1.6V and I really don't wanna push it... sucker runs 100% stable and cool @ 4.0Ghz/3.0Ghz NB and performance increase is not noticable unless benchmarking

I'll crank it up to 4.2 and run the SuperPi though, see what I can do!

Also, with 4ghz CPU / 3Ghz NB, this thing is a BEAST on BONIC... seriously it does more work, like literally 4-5x more work than my other system with 3.5Ghz X4 PII sitting right next to it... simply amazing... I guess its the memory bandwidth that is making it so much faster... I mean I expected it to be more with higher clocks and 2 extra cores... but not 4-5x more...

Look's like you'll be having fun when Bulldozer comes out.

Hell yea I can't wait!!!

I looked at the SuperPi scores... looks like I am shooting to beat 16 seconds... looks like anything faster than that requires DICE, SS or LN2

I'm gonna try to knock out a 15.5 second run and secure the non-extreme cooled, AMD crown

Good luck. Try this program here, it has a few useful tweaks to improve your benchmarks.

Nice dude thanks for that!

Hmmmmm I wonder what would happen if I locked SuperPi to 1 core, disabled the others, and turned the turbo on that one core with multi set @ 15 for 1 run... (300x15=4.5Ghz)... Wonder if it would survive??

Could always test each core individually to find the best one, juice it up, and run the benchmark.... Only one way to find out!!!

i have seen people doing single cored runes on the intel X6... every one died so idk i would do a little research before using 1 core only.

I'd suggest using 2 cores, 1 for the OS, one for SuperPi instead of making 1 core do both. Use the Wazza tool in there, then lock SuperPi to one core an run it at Realtime priority.

Also, how'd that thin client thing work out?
