Hey Everyone.

Brand new to the website.

Ive recently got into computer gaming.

I have an IBM Netvista computer, running a 1.6GHZ P4.

I want to overclock the processor, but im not sure how.

My apologies if there is already another thread for this computer.

Thanks,

Download the CPU-Z aplication from the "downloads" section of this forum. That will give you most of the info you need to fill out your system specs in the user CP.

Here is a link for those downloads. http://www.overclock.net/overclock.p...ware-guide.htm Personally I find PC Wizard to be a nice tool to find you system specs and anything else.

Yeah, like pauldovi said, you can't OC with prebuilt systems.
You could probably try CLOCKGEN or something similar to that. But Bios oc'ing on a prebuilt computer just does'nt happen. Here is the link for clockgen. http://www.cpuid.com/clockgen.php
Good luck with that willimente tho!
