Yeah thats strange cuz sometimes Ill be able to run it on 1024 by 768 with everything maxed out with like 30 fps... But then sometimes its just unplayable!!! I really hope they can fix these issues in the patch!

I get hardcore lag in COD2 also, so I'm forced to run it at 800x600, with everything maxed out, besides AA.
actually my cousins compy next to me runs COD2 quite well with:
P4-2GHZ
512DDR at 133mhz
ATI radeon 9250 PCI! (oc'ed to 270/220)
hes gettin a solid 20FPS on medium-low settings (2XAA,1024x768)

i have only a 64 amd at 1800 and 512 mb of ram, but i have an xfx 7800 GT, and i can play on near full out in single player mode, granted with a little lower fps than medium high, with dx 9, and latest forceware. but about the shapes changing, it normally only happens to me in multiplay. i have trouble with lag on the internet, but i think that is my router and internet, ya know? anyway. yea. i love cod2. alot. somebody earlier said 2 gb is optimal. yupo, 2gb would be optimal for just about everything. i am getting 1 gb of ram this weekend, so i can play full out all the time. anyway, have fun killing germans.

Yea thats really wierd cuz when I run the game in single player with DX9 it isnt really that bad but when I get into multiplayer the dx 9 kills sometimes and sometimes its fine...
