Overlocking Question

ok first off im asking for my friend obvisiouly i dont have an alienware but he does hes got an area-51 and here are the stats he wants to know if he can overclock and alienware and im not sure myself so i was wondering if it OC'ed to the max already or can it go faster here are the stats of the PC:

Of course you can. I would like to know what your his motherboard is though. That would help alot instead of just saying a alienware 925x. Is it asus or what (If it's an alienware motherbaord made by them then holy crap, doubt it).

If its through Alienware, I doubt its overclockable. If he got a different mobo, sure. But like I said, If its by Alienware its most likely an Intel motherboard.

Since i have no experience with alienware products, i wouldn't know what boards they use but it looks like ShawnMcGrail knows them. But, to make sure. Download CPUID or CPUZ (same thing) and click the mainboard tab and take a screenshot of it or just record the Manufactuar and model. Click Here To Download It's a direct link

Yup, thats a good idea, CPUZ will tell him what motherboard also... who knows, they've put aftermarket boards in their systems before...
