Best Wireless-N router

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

Right now, I've got a Netgear wireless-G router and I figure I need an upgrade cuz it's starting to crap out. I've already had a WRT160N with DD-WRT on it, but it was crazy bad and would drop connection, have bad ping, and have a large number of problems.

So, what do you guys recommend? I prefer one that is DD-WRT capable as I really like their interface and options. Thanks!

From what I've read recently, Netgear's WNDR3700 is the current best.

I would say the WNDR3700. I have been using mine since it came out and its all good.

The Cisco-Linksys WRT610N is very good too, based from the reviews and feedbacks.

the reviews on newegg for the WRT610N is pretty bad and the WNDR3700 seems to have some problems with DD-WRT, any other suggestions?

The WRT610N has received several benchmark commendations. It would be wise to research it more than to trust unaccountable Newegg reviews.

Just FYI, the WRT610N has been replaced with the E3000 which is exactly the same as the WRT610N v2.

I have a WRT160N with DD-WRT and I have no complaints. I feel it is one of my better purchases.
