Naw, the only thing I changed was the PSU. The mobo is the same. I used optimized defaults to change. Once i knew it turned on, I loaded my Cmos Reloaded profile that was stable before...and now it's not at all. I hate this motherboard! The motherboard is about the only part I haven't replaced through all of this...lmao. So...I hate it.

Any suggestions about what settings could be causing this?

ok let me get this straight pc4800 is rated to go 277mhz right? and u have ur divider set to 166? u do know ur under clovking the speed of ur ram ? try using a 200 divider leave everything set to auto on the dram configuration except for the divider and cas latency, and tras and ras to cas. now on the voltage try using this 1.425 + 110% = 1.56v (according to bios but once u open cpu-z the voltage should be lower)

Dram: 200 (1:1)
Fsb: 290
Multi: 9
Cpu: @ 2.61ghz
Ram Speed: 290mhz.
and like i said on the previous post try using 2t instead of 1t. and if u think the voltage is too high u can try this 1.475 + 104% =1.53v or 1.40v + 110% = 1.54v

GeIL ONE TCCD are rated PC4800 which is DDR600 (300Mhz).

With any change of a major component such as a PSU, a particular OC maynot always be stable and so will need to be rechecked and probably checked. It could be in your case that the PSU voltages are different say on the +12v rail where the CPU gets its source or the 3.3v rail for the Memory.

The best thing to do is to recheck the CPU with the mem on a divider and get that right up to max speed and then work the memory.

These modules work well with 623-3 in the orange slots and Vdimm around 2.65-2.75v.

Here are some sample Genie settings that worked for these module types - most for the Expert but are very close to what can be applied to the older DFI nF4 MB.

The problem is the Opteron memory controller. The ram can fly! I only need 2.6v to pass memtest at 300 2.5-4-3-6.

I noticed also, that my video card overclock took a shot in the ass as well. This is totally not cool.
I'll try the above recommended settinsg in the morning....bed time.

When I try these settings it boots, but it shuts down after it gets to the blue loading bar for Windows XP. This is pissing me off!
