How are your case temperatures? Unless you have cool air inside of the case, the BT can't get your CPU any colder than the surrounding air. Also, you can try changing the fan on the BT to something that pushes a little more air. The down side is that the new fan will be a little bit noisier.

I'm searching right now, but I remember a site where you can buy Big Typhoon brackets seperately if you need to reinstall the HSF.
