OverClocking AMD Phenom X4 9750 Quad Core

Thread Starter
Im curious if anyone has overclocked The " AMD Phenom X4 9750 Quad Core "
I've been told that this Chip can be OC to right around 3.0/3.2Ghz. Im thinking i might need to OC this thing because most games now days are really beating down on my Rig.
This will be a first time OC so anyone advice would be helpful

Honestly don't expect much... That chip wasn't a great OC'er, and that board (780) didn't help. I know some who will advocate that chipset, but it's hit and miss, especially with a non Black Edition Chip...

I really suggest reading this... DOLK'S GUIDE TO THE PHENOM II

That will give you a LOT of insight, as he's done a brilliant job of laying it out!

When you've read that, post back up and I'll gladly help you get all you can out of it!

Iv found mine a nightmare to OC aswell without being BE OC via HTref is too stressful on everything else imho, unless your pro, which im not. I just reverted back to stock for now untill i can get a bios update for my board.
