you're putting them in Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA IV/User Music?

I personally used shortcuts, but the actual files worked as well.

What format are they in? Mine are all mp3 and they work just fine.

Go to
Computer\\C\\Users\\YourName\\My Documents\\Rockstar Games\\GTA IV\\ User Music and just copy paste evrything in there. next you start GTA4 and in the options menu you can scan for music. Do this and evrything should work.

Have you put Independence FM mode on 'Radio' ?

Thanks for the responce guys, i have put my music in the path your said and i go to complete scan and it shows 1/2 (i put 2 songs in the folder mp3 format) then it goes away, jump into a car and all i get is commercials on inderpendence fm really annoying. Im not actually playing GTA 4 its episodes from liberty cities. In my my docs i have a gta4 folder with a gta4 sub folder where user music is found and a BOGT folder as well as the lost and damed folder, i have tried putting the user music folder into the BOGT sub folder but that does not seem to work either. Would it be the case i need to have gta4 installed for this to work?

Many thanks again

No I don't think you need to have gta 4 installed because Episodes from liberty city is a standalone game. Put ur music in the BOGT and Lost and damned folder (users\\MyDocuments\\Rochstar Games\\GTAIV\\ BOGT (?)\\ User music)
make sure in the options menu, (audio tab) Independence FM mofe is set to 'Radio'

I will try that, there is now sub user music folder in BOGT & LAD so i will create one and see if it does the trick, would i be better off copying my MP£ files straight into the folder or putting them in sub folders or even just pasting a shortcut from my itunes folder?

Thanks again mate really appreciate your time

Either one works for me, shortcut saves space, and I can't tell a difference.
