There is one thing bad about basements. Radon gas.

Basements often have higher levels of Radon gas because of the soil. Here is an illustration

You can easily solve this by calling someone to cover the sum pump properly. We had higher levels of radon in our basement, but after we had our sum pump covered, it is back to safe levels.

Don't mean to scare you, but under absolutely horrific situations, there's a lot to worry about. Me? I'd keep it on a high floor (2nd if possible). Flooding obviously hits the basement first...bad pipes, floods, etc.

Well, i have my PC up and running using my huge 1meg down/.12meg upload phone internet so i can get some stuff down and had to tell you all. TEMPS Dropped 10C down here lol. Cant wait till i get a A/C unit and freeze my balls off...

Well, i tried uploading pics and its just taking to long. I will upload pics as soon as i get my internet installed tomorow. It isnt going to work for a theater room, BUT i can build a work bench to the left of the desk and attatch it to the supports. Should make it sturdy and still have lots more room for other computer desks..
