League of Legends?

Thread Starter
So a friend of my introduced me to League of Legends over the weekend. Wasn't too much of a fan of Warcraft III, never played DoTA and didn't know what to expect form a 'RTSRPG'. Anyway, I LOVE the game and was instantly addicted to it.

So, anyone from OCN play League of Legends and wanna get together for a game?
My summoner name is Rynoel

Hi, if you have not play Dota or HON you should try those, LOL (league of legends) is solely a game for little kids without much to worry about, there are no deny and shortcuts through the map, the only thing you get is a little grassy that makes you invis to gank enemy, in games like Dota and HON it is more complicated and in my opinion more fun, takes more skills and etc...

but LOL is a pretty good game, well made cell shade graphics, gets kids to play it and keep them away from the real games

I'm a LoL hater but ease up on it, DoubleX. It's a DOTA game but for a different crowd. If you prefer to play a more casual game by yourself, LoL is the way to go. If you have a couple of buddies who enjoy DOTA like games and you're a very competitive person then give HoN a shot. HoN requires an one time payment of 30 bucks whereas LoL is free to play but you can pay for certain things to improve summoner.

I'm pretty addicted to it, but I've been getting bored of just joining queues solo, which is why I've been tempted recently to get HoN. I got horribly cursed off the first and only time I played in the beta, which is why I haven't gotten it yet. Summoner name is the same as on here if you want to add me. I'm level 18, so no offense, if you can't keep up with your champ in a game, let's just stick to practice games.

Don't really understand what you mean there. But yeah I'm up to any type of game with some cohesion and teamwork thats not just a couple of guys trying to get the best K/D.

I mean, I don't care if you're a level 3 summoner wise, but at least know how to build and play the champion you use. I see seeing a Ryze that can't just about kill someone 1v1. It's about knowing how to use your champion more than anything else IMO.

I just got to level 8 as a summoner. I main Sion/Ashe, using Sion more as of late. And as long as the start for Sion goes well I usually do extremely well.

League of Legends until my brain turned into mush - but I sort of miss this feeling. I too like League of Legends and I really like their business model. It will be interesting to see how it goes. So what better "come back" post to make then to talk about the one thing I have wasted my past 2-3 weeks on.

Thread bumpage. So who on OCN still plays? Me and my brother usually play a match or two each night.

Had an epic match last night, it was 4v5 (we had 4) from the very start of the match and we managed to win it. I played WW (like usual) and managed 23/8/7.
