7/10. my pc has similar specs to yours and can spit out games such as FEAR at full settings no SF or AA or AF at 48 frames a second. If you want a bit of fun OC your pc. Everything is ok. processor could be OC to 2.3ghz or 2.5 depending on core. Graphics card is a bit lacking. sound card is B-E-A-Utiful. that aBOUT IT ^^

You could upgrade a little for now its still a good cpu, Abit An7 motherboard, better ram, cooling, video card. still alot you can do to get more out of it, or just save up some money and get something bigger.

I've got the same problem as you in that my motherboard is crap. However, I can turn out games like Fable and Age of Empires III at high quality with 2x anti-aliasing. Your system could definitely use an upgrade though. I'd reccomend for budget getting an Athlon 64 3200+, which is a good chip. Also, get a Asus or DFI motherboard, as they overclock well, just make sure to get one with PCIe. For graphics, I'd reccomend the 6800GS. Add your current sound card, and buy some good 2x512 or 2x1024 DDr400 ram kit, and you'll be good for another few years.
