Whats the best, program to use to benchmark your CPU?
I want to find the max heat on my CPU...

Got any good programs for testing the CPU 100% load?
*if i can use Prime95, wich of the options on torture test should I use??

Prime95 is pretty much the best way to torture test your single CPU. To find the your load temp run the In-Place Large FFTs.

I second that. That program will let you know if your computer is stable or not.

ok, thanks!

But how long should I run the test before I know I've hit the max temp?
Is 10 minutes enough? or???

Id let it run for 20 minutes so there is no hickups. That will for sure bring your CPU to max temps.

When actually testing for stability run it for about 6 hours. But yeah 1 hour's enough for temp.

Ok, turn HT on (if it isn't allready) and run 2 programs of P95 to load both "imagionary" cores. That is the best way to stress out your CPU. Let that run for a few hrs.

You can also use OCCT, which is a decent program..

It sucks to find out you do doesnt it? I though i was stable too sometime and really wasnt. But then again that is testing your cpu as if you where using it non stop and full capacity.which is not likely you will do.
