Are these temps right?

Thread Starter
I have a Intel P4 2.6GHz Northwood
I've overclocked it to 3.3GHz

Temps:
Idle: 29 degrees
Load 52 degrees

Does the temps look ok?
The load temp is ok, cuz 55 is the limit on northwoods, but does the idle temp look very low?? or is it usually that low?

Well Load Temperature is the most important, because that decides if your CPU will be thermal throttling, which dramatically decreases performance.

But your idle is nice, you must have a cool ambient temp.

Well, yeah, kinda...
I live in Norway, and now it's winter and sub-zero outside 24/7, so yeah... It's not allways too warm here at my room... lol
I like it cold

But the ambient temp on my graphic card shows 36 degrees...

Uhh, it isn't recommended that you exceed 50c, northies don't like heat!

The Thermaltake Big Typhoon is considered the best. Pair that with a high-powered 120mm fan and you've got a very powerful cooler. Your temps are actually a bit too high. How many volts you got in that thing?
