1.65v didn't seem too strange as the majority of good DDR3 seems to like that. What else do you think competes with Mushkin in terms of quality? I've never been a big fan of Corsair ram and OCZ 3 out of 5 sticks is always bad, I've heard good things about Gskill though.
And thanks toast but that's DDR2 which...would be a total downgrade in every way xD
G.Skill is good as well, used plenty of their sticks back in the DDR2 days when their HZ kits were the thing to get.
Mushkin and OCZ are my favorites at the moment, closely followed by GSkill. GSkill just seems to have all kinds of naming gimmicks now that don't sit right with me. Just pumping out ram to pump it out.
1.65v is the P55 standard... and that's the only reason why you see so many of them. Like I said though, they will work on AMD systems, it just might not be as good of a fit as some of the other options. It's no secret that AMD likes pumping volts through the ram, so don't be afraid of 1.8v options.
