DDR2 is not very picky, but DDR3 technology is picky enough where it does matter if you are using Intel or AMD optimized IC's in the modules. This is why Intel kits do not work well on AMD boards, and AMD kits do not work well on Intel boards.

You have no ideea what you talking about.
They are triple channel RAMs, so they are INTEL RAMs 100%.
I can run them 1.65V with CPU, CPU/NB at stock speed, no problem.

IF you have to raise V at all to make stable, they are not running perfectly. perfect is, well, perfect at stock.

Lets complain about them even if they run.
I would like my 1090T OC @ 4315MHz @ stock voltage

I am not complaining about anything, just pointing out your inacurate post. It dosnt matter if it is a cpu, ram or a gpu, it also dosnt matter if it is ocz, patriot, evga or intel, if it WILL NOT RUN AT STOCK SPECS, IT IS FAR FROM PERFECT....

Sometimes setting the voltage to "auto"/"normal" does not set the "stock" voltage for the RAM. I had to manually set mine to what was printed on the sticker.

FWIW, I've been running OCZ Platinum in this rig for a year now without incident.

Well, the Thubans have much improved IMC's. A lot of people are able to run G.Skill Pi kits (Intel kits) in Thuban systems without incident.

If we're talking about 890FX and Thuban, then especially if they're called AMD edition . Those kits are optimized for quad-core Black Edition CPU's and 790FX mobos only. It has something to do with the memory profile. I had a set of OCZ AMD Black Edition modules that I just assumed would work because it had "Black Edition" plastered everywhere on the heatspreader. Those things gave me errors up the ass in Prime95 with my 1090T at stock on my 890FXA-UD5 no matter what settings I ran. I'm pretty sure they weren't bad sticks either -- they ran Memtest fine. It's just that once you got into the OS they wouldn't run worth a damn.
