How is this incorrect. An allen key is as slim as it gets. You fail.

I'll just add this.

It has to be shortened or it won't fit.

I was planning this build for around a year before I actually got the case. Theres no better place to start than planning and you don't even need the case for that!

I juist got my EVGA 1589 card installed a couple days ago, and my loop is definitly functional, but FAR from the overkill level of your, and my 580FTW idles at 29c, 30 if its over 90f outside for most of the day (on 24/7). And under load, I ran Heaven 2.5 with every setting maxed, Precision showed I have 99-100% GPU usage, and it hung at 40c, twitched to 41 a couple times, and that was on a 90+ minute run.
Thought you might dig that being that you are going with a 580 now
Thanks mate! I'm super keen to get this 580 underwater now!

I'm no InStore Technician, but doesn't that tool have 2 ends? lulz

I agree to shorten the shorter end but doesn't matter now since you have long shank screws in place.

I only used long screws on that rad. I still had to use the short ones on the 240 rads with the fans mounted in the middle. That pic just shows that if you don't shorten one side of the allan key, it won't fit inside the fan without screws that alone with them!

I used some different screws (same length and thread) and managed to puncture one rad

Follow up, in Crysis2, at absolute max settings for about 2 hours at 1920X1200, I got to 43c sustained....twitched to 44 once or twice.

Im using the EVGA FTW block on mine, I heard some say the EK was a bit better though, but I have yet to see any results. Which are you running again?

Installation (part 4) -

Remember those LEDs I told you to forget about not long ago...

I changed out the blue ones with white. Its a much more suited colour for this build!

So these 2 peices of perspex I cut and painted black. The reason was...

To hide the ugly PCB on the IO panel.

And the silver hard drive complete with sticker and cables.

Time to play with some cables!

Adhesive cables tie mounts ftw. I'll only be using these where you won't be able to see them though. Their performance>>their looks!

Next up was the sata cable. Obviously I added it to the build before I installed the hard drive but for the sake of a neat update...

Because it was red, before I sleeved it I just painted it roughly. Now when I bend it sharply, you won't see any red through the sleeve!

Please note that 360 rad is just sitting in there!!

I decided which res was for which loop and added an angle fitting to better rout my tubing!

To finish up the update, here are a few almost pointless pics!

Again, this is just a reference pic so please don't point out the fact the rad fans are blowing at each other!

Note my res holder mounts...

Lastly, theres my sata cable and the IO cables ready to position but thats for another update!

Great update, but I think someone needs a flush mount vandal switch to replace the stock Pwr switch.

That would look just sooooooo nommy under your modded LEDs'.
