Rear Faceplate

Hope someone out theres still watching!

The idea of this mod was to hide the ugliness in the drive bays. To do this, all I need to do is create a rear faceplate.

P2220014.jpg

Rather than just leave the fan holes open like the front, I decided it'd look better if I mounted a grill over them.

Even though I'm not actually setting any of the water gear up yet, I wanted to get the bay rads ready to screw fittings into and use.

P3140035.jpg

P4070015.jpg

I had to modify my fans so I could use screws on both sides.

(Sorry about the dark pic.)

Now for the fun part!

Next up, I want 4 fillsets along the top of the faceplate for access to the rear rad, and as fill ports for the reservoirs.

Note the crack... After completing a mod, don't drop it. I'll fix it later.

It doesn't look half bad even if I say so myself. More soon.

Looks great!

I was thinking of something similar for the front 5.25 bays on my TJ.

I saw a TJ07 with a similar front and always wanted to do it even before I got the case for myself! I just fell in love I guess. rolleyes.gif

Yay! I will be honest... this TJ07 was half the reason I got one(well, impulse bought it), I hope for it to be anywhere near the quality of yours lol
