Cheapest rig to beat Crysis?

Thread Starter
so what am looking for is,
1- mobo/cpu/vga/ram only (no coolers, if its for oc then it'll be with the stock one)
2- be able to play Crysis at native resolution of 1280x1024 at an average of 45-50 fps (probably this way i'll be able to play Crysis 2 at an average of 30-35 )
3- not much for application use, prolly an ONLY gaming rig
4- very high settings (exclude AA if it'll make troubles)
5- iam not upgrading, iam buying a new pc along with my current one for lan use

(my first thoughts was MSI 770-C45, Athlon II X3 440, Sapphire HD5770 1GB (prolly 4890? its still in stores here), 2xKingston 2GB DDR3 bus 1333MHz CL9)

Don't even need a quad, crysis doesn't use more than two threads.

and your choice of gpu seeing as how you mentioned 4890 locally

2gb is plenty if you don't mind using XP

that's cheap as heck and you should be able to splurge on a good hsf

My 240 hit 3.9ghz with my old TRUE

When you fight the mothership on the aircraft carrier with other aliens flying around, even a high-tech gaming rig can lag pretty high when graphic is set on high with 8xAA. On Assault, only during the bombings does the game lag, afterwards, its smooth sailing.

no need for AA if it'll ruin performance, also its okai if its only one area that lags wont be much of a prob

What?

Not stock heat sink, with a Thermalright TRUE

I was using an Asus m2a-vm 690G, an even worse board than that 770 based Biostar
