nVidia Geforce 6800

Core clock: 460MHZ

Mem clock:829MHZ

Core temp-Idle:37-40 celcius
-Load:67-71 celcius

Ambient temp:25-30 celcius

I can run FEAR extremely well at max on 1024x840 (not sure if 840's right, but you get what I mean...
There's some slowdown, I don't mind it though, compared to what it was...

Some of my other computer specs are:

3.2GHZ Pentium 4
1gig of ram

That all you guys need to know?

My main question considers the temperature, I'm pretty sure it's damn high, would really appreciate a second opinion though! I don't want my card to burn out before Elder Scrolls 4 arrives...
Youve gotten a very nice overclock on that considering the stock is 350 and 725. I only got mine up to 405 and 810 before I saw some little artifacts... (thats an AGP) By the way does anyone know of how I could get the atifacts to go away and get more overclock without having to go get some more cooling?

Wont a volt mod make my temps go up? And would it be wise to do a volt mod with a stock fan on it? Is there a link you could provide me to a volt mod?

volt mod depends on card maker so google that and yes the mem temp will rise a little so don't do it on stock cooling.

edit: thank you ckp!

If I dont have any of the cards above would it be bad if I used one of these? I have the normal 6800...

As long as your PCB (printed circuit board) is the same color and layout.
I don't see why not, but be sure to check voltages and resistances before and after with a multimeter before using your video card for long periods.

Edit: By voltmodding you do increase heat output of the core/memory, so I think upgrding GPU cooling would be better than to just going from stock cooling to a vmod.
