All I'm saying is, did you compare and contrast the auto detect with the Minimum? According to the FEAR benchmark, it has a percentage in which you are in FPS.
yes, and i each case, the max FPS is never higher than 65

i was thinking about that. so the benchmark is adding the top and the bottom of the screen?

That 3DMark05 score does look a little low. I get over 7100 with a x850xt and your card is much faster. I'd try some Omega or NGO drivers.

from what i could read around this forum, that would be because on my damned Intel CPU. i'm in the process of changing that

but my 3dmark06 score seems to be normal compared to others, would it be because of the new feature available?

here's the setup and result of my FEAR benchmark.

Jeez, I run F.E.A.R. at 1280X960 2X AA, 8X AF, Maximum textures, and get about 25-45 FPS during game play, but when I run the benchmark I usually get around 20% below 25FPS.

The benchmark is unreliable IMO. When are you going to be fighting while flying through a room when your spinning in circles a the same time??? LOL

Just think X800XL at HIGH settings= bearable

I get about 30FPS during gameplay and anything higher you won't really notice anyway.
