hey guys. i have a athlon 2600+ running at 1.9ghz right now and im using a saphire radeon 9600 256mb card oced to 447 for the core speed and 261ddr for the memory speed. what i was wondering is what would be a good afordable vid card for my pc that has good OC capabilities.

I would say that a 6800gs would be a good option .But personly i would think about you cpu and mobo first and new gpu at the same time ....I,m not knocking your rig .But things have moved on a little im sorry to say ...perhaps if you give us a Budget we can help...M

Any video card worth getting is most likely going to be bottlenecked by your cpu...

whys the rig so weak is it because of the cpu ? if its just the motherboard i dont mind replacing it either and i plan to get more ram
