Game Lockups

Thread Starter
After a while of playing world of warcraft, my game will lockup and repeat the noise that was last played over and over etc. I can stop it by pushing alt tab a bunch of times to minimize and then maximize and it is back to normal, but it doesnt always work. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem is? Ive checked all my temps they arent high at all.

Update the drivers for your sound card. Update the drivers for your graphics card too at The Guru. To see if your sound card may be the problem open up control panel->system->hardware->device manager and disable your sound card, and then play your game.

Have you downloaded and ran MemTest86 before? If updating your drivers fails then it could possibly be a memory issue.
