As far as your shader and core go. Your shaders have to be at least twice what the core clock is. If your shaders are at 1600, then 800 is the max you can take your core to.
Thanks, I'll try using ATItool for my next shader jump.

Re: the 1:2 ratio, the stock setting on my card is Core 626, Shaders 1350, so the shaders are already more than twice as much as the core. Maybe I should check out the EVGA forums and find out how high I can get the core before I up the shaders any more, or at least set the core to 700 before I go any higher.

The core clock x2 cannot exceed the shader clock.
