Trying to overclock again

im decide to start messing around with overlclocking again.... from some reason i could only get my pentium 630 from 3.0 to 3.5 stable... it was like for for a few months.... then last week i was having some problems wehre my comp would hang at the mem test wouldnt boot into windows etc etc etc.... what eventually happened wa i loaded up all of the default values in the cmos and it booted into windows... next time i booted up it automatically ran chkdsk. Im guessing these problems i was having was due to the overlclock... anyway i decided to give it another shot because it seemed that peopole were able to get their sam processors clock alot higher than me... one thing i notice was changing from a 1:1 ratio to a 5:4 ratio.... im having trouble figuring out how to do this in my bios.. unfortuanatleywhen buying my mobo i was strapped for cash and it not exactly that good or even that future proof (stupid me got one with only 2 ram slots..) anyway this is there is a memory frequence setting that i think has to to with the ratio thing...when the FSB is at 200Mhz (stock) and this mem setting is on 2.00 the mem frequency is 400.... when set to 1.66 the frequency of the mem is 333.... when it is set to 2.66 it is 533... (i think... cant read my own handwriting..) at 3.00 the freqency for the mem is 600. Which one of theses setting would be a 5:4 ration??? it seems like the 2.00 setting is 1:1..... There is also an auto setting for this..... by the way what is the best to have the pci-e frequency on??? or should i just put this on auto also... and should i mess with dimm voltage at all??? there is also a cpu intelligence accelerator that automatically adjusts system performance depending on the work load and a robust graphics bootser which is sort of like that only for graphics......( i use ati tray tools for my video overlock) any help would be much appreciated... thank you..........

oh one more thing... should i be going by the cpu temp in the bios?? or by using a prgra such as speed fan... which is more accurate???
