Any way to cancel a core?

Hello! I have a slight problem. My pc has a 852 point core that has 500 frames and is taking 1087 minutes per frame!!! My Estiated time fo finishing is 377 days and deadlin is in for october...so even if my pc is on 24/7 it will not finish....any way then to cancel the core and get a new one?

did it just start? My cores occaisionally start at like 3 hrs. per frame and then drop to 2min.

Like lab said, just let it run for a little while. Typically the estimate gets realistic as quickly as a half hour in. If it stays crazy high after a few hours, just shut down the folding software, delete the work directory, and restart. That should clear the WU. Note: you should not do this to search for a perfect WU, just in cases where your rig can't meaningfully contribute to the project on a given core (100+ days is a good guideline).

That is strange.......maybe there is a problem with ya rig causing an issue, run spyware just to see. It could just be reading incorrectly. Im no guru in this department (or any..lol) but just a stab thats all. Taeric???????

hmm i se.....and i did not want to cancel cores to find the perfet core but even if my pc is on 24.7 it wuldn;t complete so i would not help folding at all....someone else witha dual core or a more powerful pc could then fold it in time.
