I think you can delete the WU and let it download a new one.

Ok then...

I'll download a new WU and see if it picks up the old one. I've deleted older WU's before, when I came home from Bristol. The SMP just wouldn't re-start after 3 days of sitting there...

Can you say a-n-g-r-y!!! I'm not liking consumers power right now. They have the worse power grid in the nation!!! A lot of power bumps and low line voltage. I can't afford 11 or 12 EPS's to condition line voltage and give battery back up as well...

Hi shajbot,

I'm not sure what is happening - actually. Maybe a false alarm?? The computer did go down, and I had to re-start it, but... I just checked the unitext info for the WU and after 30 minutes it's showing 76% completion. That is up from the 75% it was showing at the time of the re-start, and that would be about right. The big 1,760 SMP's take about 40 hours on my X2 3800 or 2% every hour or so. I'll keep watching it and see if the percent completion continues to go up... I can only hope.

Thanks again and take care, :-)

That's a good sign. Hopefully it's not so desperate after all.

Hey by the way guys...

I just checked the donator ranks for me - 455buick and I'm 4,000th of 648,616 people in the world. That's pretty amazing. When I started folding last year on Feb 11th there were only 534,551 people folding. Over 114,000 people have joined the ranks....

Well take care and Fold On! :-)

Hi shaj,

Yeah and the thing is I don't have the finstall program running to allow the folding to start on re-boot. I just never figured it out and how to install "finstall" at all. It's like reading Greek or German or French to me... You need to really understand the Linux Kernel and all of the computer jurgan for it. Opening up terminals, typing in su - using yum.... yum what??? lol

The program also seems to have picked up where it left off. Contrary to the "beta" program not using check points....

Take care, :-)

That's got to make you feel special . I've been chugging along. I'm working on project 3040 - a gromacs one... Should be done by 4:30 on Saturday (maybe sooner as I'm listening to music and doing a file search right now.

Alright, Cappy's chip has arrived, so as soon as I figure out what I'm doing for a heatsink and thermal grease, I'll install it and get it folding.

Hi LBN,

Not too special, but knowing I've given something to Science and OCN. Not to mention Folders Inc! I finished with over 92,000 points for the month of March. Not too bad... I'm shooting for 120,000 in April. The E6400 is going and seems to be twice as fast as the X2's... I'll have 13 rigs folding soon enough.

Take care, :-)
