280! Woot!

Also, start drivers ed on Monday. I'll be done with that on Friday and I'll be able to get my learner's permit soon after that. Then it will be out to a big parking lot with my parents to learn how to drive.

In exactly two weeks, I'm going on a church trip with my friends at church. It's like a scout competition. There are four teams. We will compete in different subjects including but not limited to the organization, the scout skills, the teamwork, the cooking, the knowledge test, the play performance, the chorus, anything from setting up camps, organizing team, cooking the "host" a decent meal to physical games like tug-a-wall and crossing river. I am one of the team leader and my brother is one of another team...my brother has always been a challenge, if not the biggest rival of me, I don't know if my mad skills gonna be sufficient, I'ma need lots of luck which I don't usually get. But anyhow, we think it's gonna be fun and skin itchy, since we'll be in the forest most of the time lol.

Hey, I just got my first paycheck ever last night from this show I was running audio for. Not much, but $150 is the biggest check I've ever gotten. Going straight to the bank on this one...

Great job guys!!! cappy has really given you a punch into the top 10!

Now to hold everything stable for the next 11 days or so....

@LBN - Nice paycheck! My first one was about $36.30 for 22 hours of work pumping gasoline -- he,he,he You guys might not remember those days, so ask your parents.

@shajbot - good luck with your church trip. Sounds like it's going to be real fun!

cappy, oh cappy - Where are you?? I hope everything is Ok... and has anyone heard from HVAC??? He's still folding, but hasn't posted in awhile...

I hope all is well with you HVAC!

Take care and Fold On! :-)

Yeah, I should be able to punch out a fair amount of points this week, as I have driver ed every day from 9:00 to 3:30, so my computer is all alone. Also, there's other stuff I'll need to do in the afternoons, like practicing my clarinet and beginning my summer reading...

Hi LBN,

Summer reading?? Do you have another AP class?? My daughters seem to be doing a lot of reading as well. I never did that during the summer recess, unless I had summer school. Did that because of poor grades - twice, 8th grade (English - Hated that teacher!) and 11th (Spanish 4 - hard class for me)...

Oh well... Some of my folding computers have been really slow lately. It shows only 11 active right now. My middle daughter is using her XP1800 a lot right now and you know how that slows things down for those older AMD XP's of the first generation.
As for the other "lost" rig, I think it's the one with the Fedora 6 32 bit OS on it. It hasn't completed a WU in over a week. Keeps crashing. I might have to break down and load a fresh copy of Windows XP on it. It's my old P4 3.2. It should do better than that, but Fedora continues to crash even though I set it up in the su- mode. There's nothing else on that rig either... GO figure!

Well take care and Fold On! :-)
