Hi Guys,

The main rig I use has become re-unstable... Will crash every few minutes or so and won't fold for any length of time. I think an update or something has corrupted the Windows XP registry or something. Nothing has changed from a hardware standpoint. As I mentioned earlier I had to re-install or re-activate the OS because of so many Run Error blue screens.... The OS won't even soft boot. I have to power down the system completely before it will run or go into the OS.

I've restored the system back to an earlier date, but things haven't gotten much better. Heat wise everything is normal and Ok... I had this problem 6 months ago when I defraged my hard drive using Windows.. I won't ever do that again! This time I'm not really sure what's wrong. I may have to start from scratch with a new hard drive and re-load everything... What a pain!

So anyway, I'll be off for awhile, I think. BTW - the rig that was folding for cappy crashed as well. Maybe it's just me and my time...

Take care, :-)

Hey Labby,

You must have been folding for a long time to get where you are. So, you think if I stay consistent @ 24/7 I`ll continue to move up? My rig never shuts down, except for an occassional restart from a download or whatever.

Yeah, I've been folding off and on for well over a year (although I took about a four month break). When I stopped folding, I was at around 220. When I restarted, I was about 320. Luckily I've had some good months.

Hmm... With the team having some down-time at the moment I might take a day or two to rebuild my Windows install. Maybe the fresh install will let me get more ppd!

Hi guys,

My "old" main rig died. The X2 4400+, or hard drive or ram quit. So I had to use the E-6300 Conroe and P5N board I had to get up and running. I'll be checking out the old board tomorrow. I also intalled the 7950 GX2. I'll have to get use to it and my new system. I have a lot of work to do now. Moving all of those files from the old drive to the new one....

Well take care and Fold On!

Man, I'm a little sad now. The thing is there is this girl I like, and it's her birthday so I planned a little hang-out thing to celebrate and I would also take the chance to tell her how I feel. So first I would take her to play bowling or at the park or something, and at night we would go to din at someplace like Dion's. Then I would pull out some candle and crave her age onto it, light it and place it like at the middle of the pizza (LOL). Then I would pull out my guitar and show off my 4 months guitar skill to her by playing the Happy Birthday song. HAHha. Little cheesy I know, took me a night of no sleep to figure out. But turned out she was like "I'm free but I don't know, sorry", and I was like Oh man, she's not interested, Ima go shoot myself now. jk

Anyways, we are kinda young actually, I'm 17 and she's just turned 16, so I don't know... Bah, I don't even make money, so maybe I'll ask her out when I already got a house and 2 years of profession work or something. Man, I can't stand that long. Hic

Women come and go, don't be planning your future around one when your life hasn't begun.

I learned that the hard way.

Yeah, don't get yourself down about that, man. I know a girl who I am very good friends with, and at one point it almost became something more. She didn't feel comfortable about that, and so we scaled back. She did go with me to my freshman semi-formal, but she didn't to my sophomore semi this year, because she got a boyfriend.

On a different topic, still no bites on new members who want to take cappy's place.
