@Shajbot:

What game is that? It's obviously rendered. Pretty funny that it's a Dell.

@Buick

It doesn't have great rear views, but it does have front and side-on views. Also, apparently it's a 350 (asked my dad), and he's pretty sure my uncle will never do anything to it. Ah well. My dad's pretty sure it's a '68, cause he thinks that's the year my uncle graduated from high school.

Hi LBN,

That explains the "emotional" ties to the car. A graduation gift or my car from high school. I've had several friends over the years do the exact same thing. It was un-explainable. They kept the high school cars in the garage or on the side of a garage, with no intent to do anything with them, except talk about the great times they had, or tell stories of the great plans they have to restore them. And that becomes all there is to it - just stories of years past.

I did have one guy, whose brother bought a brand new 1969 Z-28 Camaro in the winter of 1968, just before he went to Vietnam in March of 1969. His Mom and Dad co-signed for it and paid it off. He never came back from the war. He died near Da Nang in a fire fight. So the car sat there for many years with only a few thousand miles on it. His Mom and Dad kept the car like it was the day their son left for war. When they both died he got the car, but was afraid of driving it. To much, emotional history. He joined our club - Cool Runnin' Camaros of Southern Calif in 1993 in hopes of getting some help with it. It was the Emerald green with black interior and of course the "302" motor and 4-speed. The paint was dated, but everything else was totally numbers matching and in excellent shape. A very nice car and worth some big money if a new paint job was applied. He didn't even want to do that. He said he'd keep it like it was until it rotted away... Kinda like a grave marker or head stone I guess. I never knew what became of the car. If that guy is still alive, he's got the car though! No doubt about that...

Well take care and thanks for the memories,

Hi shabot,

That's funny... Is it a Dell?? I don't see any markings and Dells don't have window side panels do they??

Is that our Team's Mascot?? he,he,he

That's a scene from Counter strike source cs_office map, rendered in gmod. It's a Dell because you can recognize the design of the face plate of the older Dell Inspiron model. They do I have side panel but I popped it, so we can see the fire. (the fire actually coming from the mouse).

Flaming mice are awesome .

But, there's not enough voltage for that to really happen...

Hi LBN,

Thanks!!! Yeah, that was my goal... Now to just stay there. I think I have 3rd place wrapped up for July as well. When I took 4th or 5th place in March and then again in April and May, it got my competitive juices going.

That's why the effort to add more rigs and stay in the top 5 folders and in the top 10 for OCN... Some folks start to relax when they hit these milestones, I'm like Avis, I try harder.

I will not be able to catch Knitelife or taeric, but I'm very happy where I'm at. K092084 was giving me a run back in May, but had to shutdown his folding farm (over 70 rigs) when his company told him he couldn't do that. However, there will always be somebody that will do that, or at least try.

That's why shajbot being allowed to have 10-12 rigs folding for Team_Folders_Inc was so nice. He's been the only one that I know of, that had that permission... I hope they'll let him start them up again in September!

As for Jeff Mace and Roscoe. They are always good competition! I don't know who Jeff Mace is, but he was #1 a few months back before Knitelife.

Thanks again, :-)
