Hey Guys,

After a 25,000 point WU which took several days, I finally made it to # 399. Yeah, I broke 400! And with a single core P4. Will wonders never cease?

Hi ReCoil,

Actually I'm doing great! I just got home from work and I'm now starting to relax. And where do you think I go for that - OCN and the Web of course!

Ahh going to the gym.... I remember those days. Now I limit my time and weight training to 12 ounce power lifts (preferably Bud Select) lol...

Take care and Relax! They say that's the way to beat stress induced illnesses....

`Sorry Guys,

That should be 25,000 frames, not points (I wish!).

Hey guys,

Just a heads up... Team Victorious Secret is now up and running. I think all of the members are female... not sure... They will be a threat (I think) to the top folding teams AND our coveted "friendliest or chattiest" team thread title.

I know that the chattiest title is an un-written one, but from the outset Folders Inc was known as being really friendly. We have almost 200 posts more that the closest competitor - Owners - and more views as well...

So I say let the posting begin... We've talked about folding, SMP's, work, vacations, cars and school in the past. Even a girlfriend problem or two...

BTW - I'm in the process of buying a quad core.... I don't even have a case or power supply for it yet! My second gpu rig will go under construction next week, after my oldest daughter goes back to school... If the gpu rig fails, then my back up plan is the Quad. Or maybe I should wait and just go Quad!! Right now I don't have the time to think about it. I'm off to work...

Take care, :-)

Hey HVAC,

After your post I went and looked for that secret 25,000 point WU... I thought Stanford had stuck one in or made a mistake. Then realized that you meant 25,000 fames... Silly me! Back in the day there were a few 3,000 point WU's. They were huge and took a lot of time to complete.

Take care and Fold On! :-)

Victorious Secret hahah, pretty original I like but they can't be full of girls, at least numlock isn't, so our chattiest title is safe (not that I imply any of us is a girl)

School is in a couple of days so I'll keep you guys update on Team_Folders_Inc.

Just bought and assembled a computer for my brother. It's like the most simple, cheap and powerful computer I've ever done. Here's the parts
- E2140 oc'ed to 2.0Ghz right away
- 2GB of Corsair XMS2
- Asrock mobo with AGP and PCIE
- Sapphire X1950PRO 512MB
- Case with sidepanel and 400W cRaP PSU
- 200GB Maxtor harddrive
Installed Vista Ultimate, rated 5.0. Plays any games at native res, so sweet. He loves it. Here's a pic, he'll be folding SMP for me 24/7, unlike my rig right now, up & down...-.-

I wish my computer could be simple like that, not that I don't want, but just power is what I strive to have the most...lol

And you're getting a quad??! What can I say, enjoy it!!
