Hi skullz,

I'll have to check Monday. I wasn't able to get to the post office yesterday and they closed at 2:00pm today... So, we can only hope. I don't have any notice, either in my mailbox or posted on my house. Go figure...

Take care, :-)

Hi LBN

That's one heck of a work load you have...

Hi, Buick, Shaj, Hvac, LBN
How is everyone doing?

I figured out MY A/C problem my drain tube was cloged, I had to blow it out with a garden hose. I also cleaned the condenser and the evap coil with some coil clean... My A/C is working great now... I know HVAC knows what I'm talking about.

Did you guys notice I've moved to 185th place.. That's great
Folding away...

What place are we in now?

Hi Guys,

It's so nice to come to this friendly thread!! You guys are great... Whenever I need a little boost I come here.

@LBN - I'm glad you had a very sweet weekend. But like a Greek tragedy, then you have to go back to the real world. I think that's why so many people dream of vacations or retirement. Never realizing it takes money to do those with zest!

@ReCoil - Yeah you have been moving up quite well. I was curious how the PS3 would stack up. It does quite well, thank you very much. Great Job and Thanks for being on Team Folders Inc...

@shajbot - I guess all of those tweaks you made are doing well for you on your folding rig. That's great news... You'll be passing some notables here in a little while like: The Duke and Ravin... Ravin's first WU was in July of '05!

@HVAC - Just keep it going! You're almost at 25,000 points! With that you'll pass 15 folks. Nice Job... And those 343 pointers are a struggle. I get them on my P4 rigs as well. They complete every 3 or 4 days.... It takes my little old XP1800+ almost a week to get one of those done!

@cappy - I know he has not posted in a while, but I have a feeling he will be soon. And perhaps SMP folding as well....

As for me. It's been a busy week and it will get tougher next week. The store (Lowe's) is in inventory right now. 116,000 sqft with 20 million+ dollars of inventory, working 5:45am to 5:00pm days... That will all end in a week or so. Until then I keep asking myself, why did I came out of retirement?? I'm tired...

Take care all of you folding devils! :-)

Simple answer to your question Buick - college education costs a lot. My parents both work now (my mom hasn't worked since the early 80s), so that they can pay for my high school, my sister's college, and eventually my college.

Hi LBN,

I wasn't asking a question, just stating the facts. Everybody after a nice vacation regrets having to go back to the "grind stone"... You were no different in your post..

<"Ah, just got back from a nice relaxing weekend down on Cape Cod. Now back into the fray.">

All to often that happens, but it's why we work so we can enjoy ourselves once in a while. As for working two jobs or having to go back to work (like your Mom). I totally agree... My pension was nice and would keep the family in good steed, but vacations, my computer rigs for folding and those little add ons like medical emergencies were eating into the family savings at a horrible rate. So back to work I went... No complaints, because I like my current job...

I have two daughters in college now, and even though they try and hold the tuitions down to a 5% increase per year at GVSU, it's still expensive. So I can feel for your parents... I'm in the same boat. But it's a good boat to be in, I think.

I hope this answers your question,

Nah, I was referring to the "Why did I come out of retirement??" Anyway, still valid points.

Oh it was my question to myself... Got it!

Sometimes when my mind says yes and my body says Oh no, I get to thinking of retirement again. But I like my job and the people there are really good to me. So no complaints..

I will definitely retire when my youngest leaves high school and goes into college. I'll be 60 then (Lord willing) and I can make more money pulling from my 401K than working. I'll then hope that Social Security is still around when I'm 62.5 and go from there. I'll never turn down a free paycheck!

Take care, :-)
