Well, we have a quite demanding lead over MHz Masters and we're not that far behind CPU Burners, keep on trekking guys!

Come June, I will be getting a new computer for sure this time, so our ouput in June will rise.

Hi cappy,

Crazy thing you asked.. I just received the motherboard in the mail today. The P4 2.6C is already mounted on it, with the all copper Thermaltake Spark 7+ heatsink. I had the heatsink just laying around and decided to use it. Waiting for the power supply and timing between work units. One WU will close out tomorrow afternoon. Perhaps then, or over the weekend.. It will be before next Wednesday though. You can take that to the bank! I can't wait to get after Amped in our team 37726 rankings... If I can get it done by Wednesday, I should be able to catch him/her sometime in July or at least make a run of it...

Good luck on your next project. Looks like the upgrade is being planned as we speak. ;-)

Take care, :-)

Hi peroxide,

Great to hear from you! A new computer as well, huh?? That's good news, not necessarily for us but for you. Between your new comp, cappy's upgrades and the addition of my 2.6 P4 we should do better in June by a bunch!

You just gotta love this team and folding! Thanks once more LBN...

Take care, :-)

Hi cappy,

That's the way to play it! When I buy motherboards and stuff, my plans are always looking ahead. I can't afford the real cutting edge tech stuff, so I have to downgrade a little and then upgrade when the prices are down. It keeps me in the game without breaking the bank.

If you count my brother's computer, I have 5 of them to look after. They all get my hand me downs, but it's tough trying to keep all of them running without errors, downtime and broke parts - like noisy fans, bad power supplies, etc...

Anyway, you take care, :-)

Hi cappy,

I don't know about the SLI question. I'll have to check it out tomorrow. I'll also look for deals on an mp3 player and post back here.
I gotta go right now, see ya.

Take care, :-)

1 more day of school, and i dont think walmart has any cheaper. But the SLI thing is dont all the older type sli/crossfire boards only support 8/8, and the new ones 16/16?

I believe if it is an SLI board and if you have the video card in the upper most slot it'll run at 16x, not sure about the other slot. The upper most slot will always be 16x until you enable SLI.
