Man that is whacked!! But I know it happens. It's a good thing the manager is willing to help with another guitar. So the "Bird" guitar is as good or better than the one that was being repaired and then sold??? If it is, then everything worked out, right?

As for folding. Folders Inc was always about a 4th to 7th place team from the beginning. We never had the high overclocks or power rigs some of the other teams did. Looks that way now as well... 7th place or better isn't that bad really. When you figure you guys have 6 rigs total - compared to some teams that have 4 Conroes (OC'd to the max!) or 8 rigs total. That's not bad at all. At least we stay together, and get quite chatty here on our thread. We still have the most posts of any team thread. Perhaps, just about any thread that is not OCN community related....

Take care guys and Fold On!! :-)
It's the same guitar. I just shortened Hummingbird to just Bird.

Ok then, that's a deal, right??

Same guitar, same price and no repairs, might make it a better deal....

Gotta love those deals! :-)

Yeah, it definitely is quite cool that the manager is willing to help. I'll try to post pics when I get her.

It's so gloomy here in ABQ. Day and night. Feels so cold (it's actually shizzling cold)

Hi shaj,

Cold? Cold? We just got 2" of snow and I woke up to 21degF this morning. Well that's not really cold, but it did snow and more is expected today...

And what is "shizzling" cold?? Kinda like shivering with some bling, bling?? lol

Take care, :-)

It's been nippy here. Usually it's been around 38 during the day. We've had snow already, and we're supposed to get some this weekend. However, it won't be anything like what we get in January and February (the only time I wish I was someplace a little further south).

Snow hit us 2 nights last week but this week it has always been bleaky.

Well, I got the guitar! I'll put up some pics soon. She's a real beauty.
Photos attached.

She's brand new, and the case pictured was an upgrade over what I was originally going to get. It's one of SKB's brand new TSA-certified cases, normally worth $120. I got it for $55 . They also threw in the extended service plan for free, which they definitely did not need to do. So, what should have cast ~$450 before taxes cost me only $280 before taxes. They were definitely quite nice about the whole thing...
