Hey Guys,

How is it going?? Two days without a post?? You folks must be real busy like me... he,he,he

@shaj - You can still remember what you did at the 2007 New Year Eve party?? You didn't party enough - LOL BTW - I can't remember a few of them ~ because I was in bed sleeping! That's what you do when you get old like me....

@ LBN - Illinois was no match for the Trojans and we'll see about Ohio St...
I loved the fact that the Patriots went 16-0... Go Pats!!! AND Tom Brady!!

BTW - Later today I will pass the 2.5 million mark for folding points. I guess I beat my goal of 2 million by my 2 year anniversary here at OCN. Maybe I can reach 3 million by my February 11th anniversary?? We'll see...

You guys take care and Have a Great start to another New Year! :-)

Dang Buick, you're just steaming along here, aren't you? How long till you take #1?

Yeah, I realize that Illinois wasn't the best match, but got to root for them, ya know? My sister goes there. But when Juice threw two interceptions in the third quarter, I knew it was over...

Hi LBN,

According to Stanford/EOC I should pass taeric about January 18th or so... I'm getting another SMP folding rig on line next week. Who knows... I'm still trying to get 3 million before my 2nd anniversary date!

If luck holds and nobody like knitelife shows up, I might be able to hold onto 1st for a few months. Never know though. nitteo is coming hard and setting up another Quad rig which will make it 8 for him. knitelife only had 6 Quad rigs (I think?) and got nearly 650,00 point per month before he quit.

As Franken once said, "it's not a sprint, it's a marathon!" I love that quote!

I'd like to get to 8 million by year's end. That will take 455,000 points per month average though. And we all know how fickle folding can be.... If I can just avoid power bumps, cable internet problems, beta WU revisions, and lost equipment, I might be able to do it.
Something to shoot for though.....

Take care and Fold On, :-)

455,000 average and 455buick, who would have thought about that eh?

About football, not my most favorite sport, can't keep conversation on that.

That's okay Shaj, I've got something much more interesting to talk about than football.

I just got a "new" monitor. My dad works at Best Buy at the moment, and so he gets a pretty awesome discount on some stuff. Well, they had a 22" Acer LCD that cost employees $140! So, he couldn't pass that up and bought it for my mom. So, he gave me my mom's old Samsung 941BW. It's certainly a much nicer monitor than my old 793MB, and it still has the warranty, as it's only a year old.

So, I'm up from a 17" CRT with 1152x864 @75Hz to a 19" widescreen LCD at 1440x900. Not bad!

That's definitely a good jump LBN. I used to have a 17" CRT too, but it used to run at 1280x1024 @ 85Hz. Gave it to my bro after I gotten this Samsung 22". Almost $350 on newegg but I think it's worth it.

Now you just need a better graphic card. Cuz resolution jump also means less fps for the old graphic configs.

Actually, I thought I have to lower my settings for AOE III, and I didn't. I bumped up the res, and nothing really slowed down. My old CRT had to drop down to 60 Hz at 1280...
