Hi LBN,

I didn't think the 2xxx series was supported, but didn't really know either. I have 2 - X1950XTX's and one is folding. The other is having issues, again. Just like December of 2006!!! Just might be the card... No real way to tell though. I'll have to monitor the temps and such. Maybe that's creating problems...

Take care and Fold On! :-)

Hey by the way guys...

Just picked up a Q6600 Go Quad on eBay for $210.00!! Not too bad... Also a P5K-E WiFi motherboard... So a new rig is coming soon! That will make 18 rigs, and hopefully 2 gpu's folding in the mix as well for 20 rigs total...

The break down:
3 - X2-4400
3 - X2-4200
1 - X2-3800
3 - Q6600 (2 - B3's 1 - Go)
2 - E6600
1 - E8400
2 - E6300
1 - E6400
2 - GPU's (X1950XTX's)
2 - P4's (3.2C, 2.8B) lowly but used by daughter and brother!
20 Total....All mildly overclocked...No torture tests here. Just consistency and reliability!

Wish me luck keeping them going! AND staying ahead of Chris Gibson aka Gibsonnova74

Nothing that new, finally purchased a new computer which is my sig rig.

Venturing into the realm of audiophiles at the moment, seems interesting.

How about all of you?

Hi peroxide!

Great to hear that you have a new rig! The P5N-E SLI motherboard, is a good one. You'll be able to upgrade later to a Quad, if you want too. My P5N-E has been good to me over the past 6 months or so. No problems at all, and very stable....

So how is life these days in Ontario?? The Canadian dollar is real strong right now against the US dollar. That should make buying things a little easier. Anything else new to report?? And you're going audiophile? I know nothing about that stuff. I've heard that soloz here at OCN is one of the best. Have you had a chance to talk to him??

Again, good to hear from you and Take care, :-)

Hey Peroxide! As far as going audiophile, remember this: power isn't everything and the bigger your speakers the better. I'm still kinda sad that my mom threw out her vintage 3-way floorstanding pair. Those things had 12" woofers in them (they had some deep bass). Probably sounded a hell of a lot better than the speakers I have for my bedroom stereo...

BTW, I'm sick again with another cold. This is number five or six for the school year. I'm drinking plenty of OJ this year, and I've been on antibiotics for a while (hoping it'll clear up my skin), but I just can't seem to stay well. I'm guessing I'm probably stressed out and just too tired...

But, this new card is freaking awesome. While my benchmark scores haven't improved a ton (Aquamark is the same score as before, 3DMark03 won't even load), real application performance is much better. I can now run AOE III at 1440x900 with everything at the max and I still get like 40 FPS or so. Only game that's not liking me is Fable, but I'm narrowing down on what's causing that I think.
