Damn guys!! That really is quite the accomplishment. Now imagine if those first few updates had been a little higher... you guys probably could've won!

Oh, BTW Shaj, I just added you as a friend, so don't be surprised when some white guy from MA adds you as a friend, lol.

My rig is about the size of a breadbox. Assuming the above parts would work, how much do you want for them? My video card is PCI-e, but my RAM is 184 pin DDR4 @ 1 gig each (2 sticks). You didn`t say what your RAM speed is or the number of slots in your MOBO, but I suspect I wouldn`t be able to use mine in your MOBO anyway. Also, my MOBO won`t let me overclock. I have the Shuttle OC program with all of the settings I could want, but when I make any changes no matter how slight, the board resets them back to default in just a few minutes. The Pressy chip runs too warm anyway to tax it very much, so I`ve given up on an OC for this rig. I have a noisy Delta 220 CFM fan to boost my air cooling, and that`s as far as I want to go for this rig (there`s just no more room inside to do anything else).
Hey Buick,

I tried the "soft" restart, but that didn`t do anything new. I checked the cpu use setting in the folding configuration link, and it was at 100%. So, Windows must somehow be restricting it. However, the Task Manager window indicates 100% use whenever the processor is called upon in any capacity in addition to folding. Is this normal? If the processor was somehow switched to 100% all of the time, what effect would that produce? What should my page file be set at to produce optimum results for folding and all around PC use? In my view my rig is doing all it can, unless I`m missing something. I have Max Registry Cleaner, but I have set it to scan just once a week. This has not changed anything (I used to run it daily). I also have the upgraded version of AVG, and it is in the "automatic" mode. I have several items in the toolbar, but none of them use resources unless I cause them to run manually (overnight the only thing running is my fax modem, besides the folding program, and the total resource use is still 50%).

Hi HVAC,

Sorry about not getting back to you sooner. As for the X2-4200's and 939 motherboards. None of them will fit an SFF configuration, sorry.

As for the current set up of your rig for folding. As for my P4 rigs folding. Windows task manager shows mine at 100% all the time. Of course the folding will slow down when other programs are being used like MS word, Excel, games, etc... I can see that with the frames per minute completion rate.

Why yours is not folding 100% all the time?? When you downloaded the FAH program and executed the initial startup, did you change any of the configuration flags of the program?? Normally allowing the FAH program to set itself up (which I've done with the P4's) allows 100% usage of the cpu. There may be something within your Windows OS that has limited the cpu access or usage as you stated. How to change that I'm not certain though. Never had to do it...

You can always re-install the FAH program after it completes that last WU. Delete every thing in the FAH/folding folding and start fresh with a new download... Other than that, I really don't know..

Take care and Fold On! :-)

Woohoo! Today was my last AP exam (Physics B), and I'm glad to finally have that off my chest...

On another note, prom was awesome. Food was decent, and my date and I danced the night away... The night in general ended well (nothing too explicit, don't worry ). Let's just say the one side of my mouth was covered in glitter from her makeup/lip gloss.
